The Cuneo Golf Club extends over the river bed of the Gesso river which runs along the entire eastern side of the city of Cuneo. The 18 hole,
PAR 72, course, extending over an area of 6018 metres was designed by the Canadian architect Graham Cooke whose distinctive architectural
style is apparent at all turns. The course blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings of the area, distinguished on account of its slightly
undulating terrain and its typical fluvial undergrowth. Streams, lakes and bunkers meld harmoniously with the backdrop of the Maritime
Alps, framing the course from Monviso, in the west, to the top of the Marguareis, in the east, and Mount “Bisalta” whose majestic presence
dominates the course. Particular attention has been paid to the construction of the club house. In fact, though retaining its original architectural
lines in-tact, the magnificent “Albertasse Vecchia” farmhouse has been totally restructured to house the elegant club house boasting a restaurant, bar, congress room and wellness centre. Furthermore, it has all the requisite golfing
amenities: a reception, secretariat, changing rooms and pro-shop. The complex has an outdoor swimming pool. In winter, cross-country skiing
(approx. 6 km circuit) is an additional option and equipment is available for hire.
Season:
open all year round. Close on Wednesdays, with the exception of public holidays.
