Vedetta’s welcoming hospitality and discreet intimacy are perfectly balanced and every detail has been carefully studied, to offer those friends who have chosen to breathe, with the pure air of Maremma, both freedom and privacy, in genuine comfort of a prestigious Home dominating the sea. At Relais Vedetta the histories of the Family members intermingle in the JSuites and the communal areas, in an ongoing theatre blending bygone memories with the realities of the contemporary.
Outside, the park surrounding the House offers a sweeping, 360° panorama of the rest of the world, hills, hamlets, marshes, islands, sea and the unbroken dome of the sky….
The new swimming pool sits on the side of the hill that gives over the sea and enjoys the sun from its first timid rays in the morning to when it slowly sets over the Island of Elba. It is not your usual rectangular blue swimming pool, but a lake-like pool set amongst the olive trees. Its form was conceived to have the least possible environmental impact, and it was constructed using a marble-dust and resin paste. One corner of the pool has an ample relaxation zone where you can lie down in an inch of water and enjoy the benefits of tiny aero-therapy bubbles.
